Summary:

Our client is a growing customer focused Renewable Energy Supplier, with a mission to turn the grid green and offering fair prices to household customers across the UK. They are looking for a Gas Settlements Analyst to join their growing team and help deliver their vision.  You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of industry settlement performance, so If you have a good understanding of gas industry flows, can manage settlement exceptions and develop forecasts for settlement volumes, apply today!


Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage industry settlement performance.

·Demonstrate a good understanding of industry flows across gas supply. 

·Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions promptly.

·Help develop accurate forecasts for settlement volumes.

·Consistently monitor Settlement portfolios, identifying trends and potential risks. 

·Proactively address any discrepancies or anomalies.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any settlement queries issues promptly.


Skills and experience required:

  • 3 years’ experience in Gas Settlement functions is essential.
  • Familiarity with back-office operations in an energy supplier context.
  • Proficiency in handling settlement performance 
  • Good understanding of industry flows, including gas supply.
  • Good Knowledge of D0095 and D0235 exception resolution
  • Proactive in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and forecasting.
