Commercial Gas Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm plus overtime and call out Starting Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 PA depending on exp.

Location:

• Office and yard based in Redditch, Worcestershire.
• Engineers will be required to travel to site frequently.
• Company vehicles will be provided.

Job Description:

The chosen candidate will be working alongside an experienced team, willing to support and pass on their valuable industry knowledge.

We are looking for an engineer with background, experience and knowledge in the following:

• Commercial mechanical pipework.
• Boiler rooms.
• Commercial boilers (Forced draft).
• Working with gas and oil.
• Understanding of electrical services.
• The Engineer is required to have the following qualifications.
• Commercial Gas safe.
• NVQ in heating.
• Full driving licence.

The successful candidate will lead engineers with installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial temporary boilers and chillers. You will also be required to assist with modifying existing pipework within old plant rooms.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of commercial LTHW systems.
• Flexible and on-call when required i.e., you may be required to attend an emergency outside of usual working hours.
• Local to Redditch area.
• Clean driving licence.
• Successful candidates will be DBS checked as some site will require this.
