Job: Commercial Mobile Gas Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wakefield

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Work Hours: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call rotation.

Are you a skilled Gas Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Randstad CPE are currently recruiting for a reputable client based in Wakefield. As a Gas Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be delivering maintenance services across various public and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works in accordance with the agreed schedule.
  • Conduct maintenance, fault finding, and installation of commercial gas installations and associated heating plant.
  • Maintain plumbing systems including hot/cold water, central heating, drainage, and rainwater systems.
  • Ensure facilities meet specified performance standards.
  • Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance aligned with client programs.
  • Perform maintenance duties with respect for client objectives and team privacy.

Requirements:

  • Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship.
  • Experience in installing and servicing A/C, HVAC & Chilled Water Systems, and associated plant.
  • Desirable qualifications such as City & Guilds 2079 F Gas & ODS Regulations and Water Management experience of L8.
  • Gas Safety Qualifications, with the capability of being registered with Gas Safe.
  • Experience in AHU/Gas Heating Plant Control systems and commercial/industrial gas installations.
  • Health & Safety Certification.
  • Full current driving license and willingness to travel.
  • Self-motivation, customer-focused attitude, initiative, and decision-making confidence.
