Garment Technologist

About You

• Ideally you'll have a relevant degree in textiles AND a minimum of 12 months experience of working with garments/clothing/apparel. Workwear would be highly advantageous!
• Knowledge / experience of garments / clothing is key.
• You should have had some exposure to sustainability or have a passion for this area.
• Experience in sample management and materials testing / trials is essential.
• An analytical mind is helpful when it comes to research and reporting.

About The Job

• You'll join as a Garment Technologist and will work in support of the R&D Expert.
• Together you'll work to create innovative solutions for a number of technical products, looking specifically at reducing the company's carbon footprint.
• It will be your responbibility to research and report on new technical, innovative and sustainable trends.
• You will need clear and concise communication skills so as to maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and various internal stakeholders.
• You'll organise testing and trials of new / exisiting products and analyse results before accurately reporting on your findings.
