Garment Technologist -Knitwear

This successful well-established supplier of ladies fashion forward clothing is seeking a Garment Technologist .

You will need to have previous experience of true knitwear and have a comprehensive understanding of different yarns.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Creating and managing garment specifications

Providing clear instructions to suppliers

Liaising with the suppliers and with the retail customers.

Attending fit sessions and taking responsibility for the sealing samples

Resolving problems and ensuring clear communication across departments

Working closely with the design and production teams .

The Person:

We are looking for a person educated to Degree level who has gained at least 3 years industry experience with true knitwear. Private label supplier experience will be ideal along with a sound knowledge of High Street retail.
Attention to detail, organisation and multi tasking are all important along with your knowledge of yarns and current manaufacturing methods .

This is a permanent position which is based on site at the company studio/ offices in North London.
