Our client is an award-winning and independent garden centre in North London, with a strong commitment to customer service and a passion for horticulture. 

They have been dedicated to providing customers with top-quality plants, stylish home accessories, and expert advice for nearly 25 years.

Job Description:

Our client are hiring for an assistant manager to work closely with the director for this site.  
Managing a team between 4 – 6 depending on the season.    Ensuring operational standards are maintained and delivering first class service to loyal and knowledgeable customers. 
This is a hands on and fast paced role.  You will be working in a high density retail site that takes around £1.5million a year in sales.   

They are offering a competitive package up to £36K for the right person.

Key Skills:

We are seeking 3 key ingredients in the suitable candidate:

  • Horticultural knowledge, experience, or formal training in horticulture.
  • Retail leadership experience at Supervisory or above
  • An excellent attitude with great communication and service skills.

Working hours:

  • 5 days a week with alternate weekends.
  • 09:15 – 18:15
