Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 pa dependent on experience

Permanent – Full time - Mon-Fri: 07:30 to 16:00

Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire

We are an established manufacturer specialising in bespoke furniture and joinery.  We collaborate with trade partners in both the commercial and residential sectors.

We use traditional skills along with cutting edge technology.  Our modern, well equipped, state of the art workshop is situated in the beautiful village of Penn Street, Buckinghamshire.   Our clientele is based in London and the home counties.

We focus on customer care and quality assurance to produce high end furniture and joinery.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic Furniture Sprayer /Polisher to head up the Spray shop department and be an active member of the production team, working closely with the Production Manager & the Production team leader to meet deadlines and quality standards.

  • Previously worked as a Furniture Sprayer / Polisher
  • 5-10 years similar experience and / or NVQ level 3
  • Have a good working knowledge of water-based paints
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working in a busy environment
  • Have good time management skills & the ability to use own initiative
  • Good organisational & administration skills
  • Valid driving licence (preferred)

The Role

As a Furniture Sprayer, you’ll be responsible for preparing work surfaces for spraying, painting, or lacquering, playing a key role in achieving the excellence of projects.

 Responsibilities but not limited to:-

  • Operate compressed air spray paint equipment
  • A-line spray machine (training given)
  • Prepare surfaces through sanding & filling
  • Maintain cleanliness of tools and work area
