Funds Project Manager / Product Implementation Manager - Asset Manager - London

A top London-based Asset Management company is looking for a permanent Funds Project Manager / Product Implementation Manager to work as the main person looking after Business Change for all of the Funds/Product space.

This will be working on Business Change projects across fund mergers, fund launches, fund closures and then also on other smaller projects, even involving a small amount of BAU.

This is a key role within the business, as it heads up all the product/funds work for the business and will be reporting into the Head of Change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with the Product team on project requirements and collaboratively define these, resolve issues and ambiguities and close out gaps to realise project ambitions through effective product design
• Assess Product team’s project proposal and updates, noting any concerns and gaps
• Work with the Product team to interpret the impact to and operational requirements for all projects
• Act as the conduit been workstream leads within Support and the Product team and any associated Committees
• Work closely with Head of Projects to ensure all changes are aligned with wider business change
• Facilitate effective resolutions through research, proposal papers and bringing together stakeholders for discussions
• Act as a moderator, when required, between Product and Support to drive forward projects.
• Work with third parties and consultants, as required, to deliver Product team’s projects

Required:

• Projects experience within the Funds/Product space (certainly including some project management, but can come from a consultancy)
• Background in BAU
• Experience with OEICS and other types of UCITS (but mainly UK-based funds)
• Asset Management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.

Nice to have:

• Experience liaising directly with fund accounting stakeholders as part of the role
