£55,000-£60,000 + bonus

London (hybrid working)

Overview

A leading fund services company responsible for managing over $100bn in assets are recruiting for a Fund Accountant to join their team based in Central London. If you are a qualified accountant looking to move out of practice into Real Estate or Private Equity and manage a team this could be a great next move.

Responsibilities

Managing a team and a portfolio of clients you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and managing bookkeeping for a range of funds, SPV's, and structured companies
  • Preparation of management accounts, NAVs, quarterly investor reports, and partnership capital accounts
  • Production of financial statements (IFRS and UK GAAP)
  • Cashflow forecasting, statements, and monitoring
  • Responding to investor queries and reporting requests
  • Liaison with external stakeholders such as auditors and legal teams
  • Coach, mentor, and develop your team
  • Establish and develop client relationships including onboarding to the business

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Technical accounting skills including consolidations, VAT, acquisitions, and disposals
  • Experience in supervising and developing a team
  • Strong client relationship and management experience
  • Able to interpret financial information and present to a variety of audiences
  • Problem solving and communication skills
