Position: Full-Time Humanities Teacher

Are you passionate about shaping young minds through the study of history, geography, and other fascinating aspects of the humanities? We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join a busy secondary school in Cornwall. As a full-time member of our faculty, you will inspire students and foster their curiosity about the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach History and Geography across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Collaborate with a strong team of Historians and Geographers.
  • Develop engaging teaching resources to enhance student learning beyond the classroom.
  • Encourage students’ knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm for humanities subjects.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Passion for teaching history and geography.
  • High standards of behaviour and academic expectations in the classroom.
  • Willingness to contribute to the department’s growth and development.
