Software Engineer - Full Stack (Java, React, AWS)

London: Salary: £60,000 to £80,000



A bit about the job:My client is a greenfield Personal Lines insurer with a vision to excel in the UK market. Combining the agility of a start-up with the resources, they are committed to delivering exceptional customer outcomes through continuous development and delivery. As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with Product Owners, subject matter experts, and team members to drive innovation and enhance development standards and practices.

Essential skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages with a willingness to learn new ones such as 'Go'
  • Strong understanding of modern development methodologies including Agile, continuous deployment, and DevOps, with experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality outputs and contributing innovative ideas to the team
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and tackle challenges with a positive attitude



Additional Information:

  • Tech Stack (experience with all of the below is not required):
  • Frontend: Typescript, React, Next.Js, HTML / CSS
  • Backend: Golang
  • API's: Rest, AWS - CDK.
  • Platforms: Go, CDK, AWS
