Role: Front End Developer

Pay rate: £550.00 - £600 per day (PAYE) + Holiday pay

Start date: May 2024

Work Location: Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

Expected duration: 3 months

Our client is an innovative Advertising Agency (ATL, TTL, BTL) at the very heart of London City! They are dedicated in producing top-notch ad experience for their clients (big brands!) across entertainment, films, property and automotives.

They are looking for a talented and experienced Front End Developer who is strong in both Design and Technical skills with the ability of producing prototype using Figma. You must be able to create and conceive a commercial web component with capacity to scale.

Responsibilities:

Managing both design and development with strong front-end skills, being a creative problem solver with an eye for top-tier functional design, and bringing innovative ideas to conceive, create, and deliver branded shopping experiences for millions of customers worldwide across various platforms.

  • Owning the end-to-end development process and deliverables from a design and technical perspective
  • Work closely with business teams to develop campaign strategy, use cases, and technical requirements.
  • Presenting work to peers, product teams and executive leadership
  • Develop high quality scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Partnering with program and product managers to appropriately identify and assess features for future product offerings

Here are some things that we're looking for:

  • Proven web development experience across multiple devices, web-views and browsers
  • Proven ability to simplify complex problems into intuitive and elegant experiences
  • Ability to deliver functional prototypes on new devices
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Ability to participate in the full lifecycle of design and development - including ideation, prototyping, development, backwards compatibility, fail-overs, validation, and user-testing

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years experience as frontend developer and Typescript.
  • Experience in a creative or advertising agency.
  • Ability to deliver functional prototypes on new devices.
  • Strong UX / UI experience.
  • Understanding and fluent usage across a broad spectrum of technologies including (but not limited to): Vanilla JS, NodeJS, React, Redux, SaaS/CSS, and Responsive/Adaptive Design.
  • Experience with ThreeJS,Tensor Flow (Desirable).
  • Experience in prototyping with tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Experience with React Spring, Framer Motion, or an equivalent animation library (excluding JQuery).
  • Experience using AWS tools (stock).
  • Understanding of performance, accessibility, and how to mitigate latency issue.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with digital marketing, advertising, and metrics across Entertainment and Automotive verticals
  • Familiar with creative ideation and brainstorm sessions with internal and external partners
  • Familiarity with Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Voice Design, WebGL and creative frontend.
  • Familiarity with using the Bash scripting/shell and SSH.
  • BS/MS in computer science, technology, design, or equivalent professional experience.
