They have partnered with more than 500+ leading brands, including Zoom, Snowflake, Moderna, Eurostar, and AAA.

They are looking for a Frontend Architect to join their team in the UK to help build and shape the future of their product. You will be working closely with cross-functional engineering teams across multiple divisions to help them to deliver awesome software that our customers love. You'll also be helping them to plan out how they decompose out their existing monolithic codebase into micro-frontends whilst also re-platforming their product onto AWS.

What you'll be doing:
  • Working closely with function leads and architects to plan the technical execution of new products and major features.
  • Helping decompose our monolithic React SPA into multiple micro-frontends/npm packages.
  • Oversee the frontend aspects of re-platforming our product onto AWS.
  • Writing TypeScript/React to support our core platform features.
  • Collaborate with the design team and other front-end leads to roll out their in-house component library across all of their products.

What experience you will need to apply:
  • You are user-focused. We solve our customers' problems together, and everybody has a say in planning, design, and execution.
  • You're a great communicator. This role will require you to lead discussions with multiple teams from different functions of the business. Presenting ideas and answering questions in open discussion is no problem for you.
  • You have a good track record of project leadership and software engineer mentorship.
  • You have proven excellence in writing readable and efficient TypeScript code.
  • You have 5+ years of React experience, a strong understanding of its internals, and a thorough knowledge of the wider JavaScript ecosystem.
  • You have 2+ years of experience operating at principal software engineer level or higher.
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of accessibility best practices, including WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of automated testing and CI/CD, including challenges specific to the frontend domain.
  • You have experience working with micro-frontends and associated technologies like federated modules and single-spa.
  • Excited by working in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll get in return for your experience:

They are offering up to £125,000pa (doe) for this role combined with a great benefits package that includes stock options, an annual bonus and much more
