French Speaking Credit Controller

If so, I am currently working on a French speaking Credit Control role for an international organisation based in Winsford.

• Role – French Speaking Credit Controller
• Hours – Full Time Permanent
• Salary – Circa £35,000 per annum dependant on experience

 
Job Function and Responsibilities:

• Assists the broader accounts and sales teams 
• Regularly reviews the process and procedures to reduce debtor days 
• System and contract owner for 3rd party business information providers 
• Responsible for correct recording and reporting on credit limits from ERP (IFS) 
• Pro-actively maximizes usage of the Group Factoring facilities by adding debtors to the program, applying timely for credit limit increases and communicating these limits to the banks and coordination of these tasks with Local Credit Controllers 
• Acts as liaison between the Treasury department and Group factoring companies 
• Pursue all outstanding debts by phone, email and letter, maximizing cash receipts and keeping the Debtor Days to a minimum
• Liaise with customers where need be for the collection of monies and ensure the input of remittances to the system
• Maintain schedules and reconciliation for Debtors on an ongoing basis and as laid down from time to time by the Regional Reporting
• Continuous improvements of processes within the area influenced by the jobholder
• To carry out any other duties, relevant to the post, which may arise  thus ensuring a comprehensive and flexible service to the business and the department
• Maintain total secrecy to non-employees regarding the company’s activities
• Process factoring files to ensure maximization of cash inflows 
• Process inter-company invoices. Reconcile and report balances with fellow Group companies 

 What we are looking for:

• 2+ years Accounting and Credit Control experience 
• Previous experience of end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes 
• Working knowledge of Credit law 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English - especially during difficult customer negotiations 
• Ability to build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
