FRENCH AND SPANISH Teacher

A Good Secondary School based in Barking and Dagenham is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate qualified French and Spanish Teacher to start ASAP.

The School

This large community school located in the borough of Barking & Dagenham, are looking to recruit a French and Spanish Teacher to join their team ASAP. The Head Teacher, together with a very successful Senior Leadership Team does everything to ensure that the students' achievements are at the centre of the school's vision. They have a commitment to the highest academic standards combined with a wide range of curricula and extra-curricular activities aimed at enhancing the opportunities offered at all their students. There is a real sense of community when working and attending this school, with students and staff benefiting from sports, social and educational facilities all under one roof. Their aim is to ensure that every student is fully equipped and experienced to face the challenges of their chosen pathway.

The school is located a short walk from the local underground station, and there is on-site parking available for staff.

French and Spanish Teacher:

Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful MFL department. The department comprises of teachers with different specialisms and levels of experience, and they are currently looking for a qualified French and Spanish Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be required to teach French to KS3 and KS4, and Spanish to KS3. The department work very closely together to ensure that students of all abilities have the same opportunities to reach their goals, with extra-curricular activities and booster classes run throughout the term for those students who require it. The department are looking for a qualified French and Spanish Teacher who shares their same passion for their subject to join their team from September.

The role is to start ASAP and would be offered on a temp - perm basis for the right candidate. Trials/Interviews to take place immediately.

To be considered for this FRENCH and Spanish Teacher role you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • PGCE in French/Spanish
  • Experience teaching French to KS3 and KS4
  • Experience of teaching Spanish to KS3
  • The desire to join a very successful department and school
