Freight Operator

Premier Work Support are seeking a permanent Road Freight Operator for a growing Logistics company in Erith.

Key Responsibilities for the Road Freight Operator:

• Handling both European and Baltic services.
• Coordinate and manage the movement of freight from origin to destination, both international and national.
• Liaising with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing real-time updates to customers.
• Address any issues or delays promptly and implement effective solutions.

Essential

• At least 1 years' international road freight experience.
• Experience with Customs paperwork.
• Experience with Baltic imports/exports would be desirable.
• Numerate and capable of manually calculating costs and charges.
• Excellent customer service skills.

This is a Monday- Friday role, covering 40 hours per week.
