Company details: Built Environment Media (BEM) is a leading publisher of data and news to the global architecture community. Tenderstream.com as part of BEM has built a solid reputation over the last 15 years for providing public tender information to international architects.

Location: Remote with occasional meetings in Brighton

Description of the role: We have a specialist team researching, collating, and uploading data to the Tenderstream database in our unique, easy-to-read format. Our comprehensive, global tenders from OJEU and our own international sources and design competitions are all translated into English and delivered by daily email to our members who are predominantly architectural companies.

We are looking for a Project Researcher for Tenderstream, including manual research of new project leads from the UK architectural market and uploading existing European project leads to the Tenderstream database. The role requires translation (using translation tools), accurate data entry, editing, proofreading and meticulously meeting the daily deadline of 2 PM. Full training will be provided.

As a small company, we expect our staff to be flexible and work on other duties including admin, analysis, social media campaigns, and preparations for meetings from time to time.

Skills Required:

  • Data entry experience
  • Meticulous eye for detail
  • Proofreading skills
  • Ability to work to a daily deadline
  • Excellent research skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • A second language and knowledge of architecture are a plus
