THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

  • Drive the refinement of fraud detection strategies, ensuring an optimal balance between minimising losses and delivering positive customer outcomes
  • Lead fraud strategy initiatives across the company's operational regions
  • Manage diverse fraud types, covering application fraud, and internal fraud risks, adopting a comprehensive management approach
  • Collaborate extensively with fraud operations and risk teams to assess exposure, scrutinise defence systems, and implement targeted enhancements for an improved fraud prevention framework
  • Actively identify and mitigate fraud risks using proactive monitoring, analytical exploration, and case reviews

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of expertise in preventing application fraud through collaboration with credit providers and lenders
  • Proficient in designing, testing, and optimising fraud detection strategies to balance loss mitigation and positive customer outcomes
  • Provide company insights on fraud threats, attack profiles, and effective mitigation strategies
  • Conduct fraud case reviews, establish escalation processes, and perform detailed investigations
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills within the fraud team, and across departments, and provide fraud training while raising awareness of fraud risks
