About Our Client

Our client, an international web hosting business, is seeking an FP&A Manager to cover a maternity leave. With offices in multiple countries and over 700,000 accounts, they are one of the fastest growing web hosting groups in the world. They offer a range of services to the SME market, including web hosting, domain registration, VPS, and dedicated servers.

Role Overview

The FP&A Manager will play a key role in developing and driving insightful business analysis to support internal and external stakeholders, including the private equity investor. They will also be involved in the appraisal of future acquisitions. This is an autonomous role within a fast-paced, acquisitive tech business, offering excellent exposure to private equity and senior stakeholders. It is an opportunity for a commercially focused individual who enjoys driving improvements to reporting and has a curious mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare insightful month-end packs for review with the Group Financial Controller and CFO
  • Provide analytical support for the leadership team, including financial modelling and scenario building
  • Drive a data-driven approach to decision making across the group
  • Own the budget, including forecast reporting and variance analysis
  • Manage the Group's long-term financial model
  • Support with rolling cash flow forecast analysis and covenant reporting
  • Build and improve MI dashboards, SaaS KPIs, and provide commercial insights
  • Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct in-depth analysis on metrics such as customer analysis, marketing spends and ROI, and other financial drivers
  • Build strong working relationships with regional finance teams through travel to international hubs
Skills and Experience
  • Qualified accountant with strong academics
  • Inquisitive with great attention to detail while able to focus on the bigger picture
  • Highly organized, structured, and advanced excel skills
  • Track record of building and managing complex excel models
  • Able to work with large sets of data and manipulate and interrogate it
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
