Sheridan Maine is working in partnership with our client, a leading Poole-based business operating in a specialised sector. Our client has experienced significant expansion, demonstrating robust growth and a steadfast commitment to excellence in their field. As part of their ongoing success, they are currently seeking a dynamic FP&A and Data Analyst to join their dedicated team.

Role Overview:
As the FP&A and Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing insightful analysis and strategic financial support to key stakeholders within the organisation. Working closely with senior management, you will contribute to the development of financial plans, forecasts, and budgeting processes, aiding in decision-making, and driving business performance.

Your responsibilities as the Analyst will include:
  • Conduct a range of financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational decisions
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and support to assess the impact of potential business changes and opportunities
  • Preparation of accurate management reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Support the Commercial Finance Director with Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Business partner with production/operations management to provide meaningful insights into the business performance
  • Analyse monthly P&L versus budget/forecast
  • Detailed Analysis of key departmental spend to support key business decisions 
To be considered for the role of FP&A and Data Analyst, you will require:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis and able to manipulate large volumes of data
  • Proficient in utilising technology, demonstrating advanced expertise in Excel and adeptness in navigating various software systems
