Founding Software Engineer (JavaScript)

We are re-inventing the way talent and opportunity meet with our AI recruiter assistant. Our assistant is designed to automate the repetitive tasks in the recruitment process, such as sourcing, vetting, reaching out, and interviewing candidates, while involving humans whenever necessary. Our fast-growing paid customer base is particularly excited about "Autopilot," the ability to automatically find and reach out to candidates, saving hours of time and allowing recruiters to focus on interviewing and determining fit.

We recently raised a $1.5m pre-seed funding round and are now expanding our team to get our product to work for every growing company in the world.

About the Role:
As a founding engineer, you'll be a key member of the founding team. Your main responsibility is building a great product experience for our customers and pushing the bleeding edge of agent-based LLM applications. You'll be involved in prioritizing problems, brainstorming solutions, implementation, testing, releasing, and maintaining. We're looking for a pragmatic individual who combines technical prowess and product intuition to deliver minimal but satisfactory implementations quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Discuss priorities and pragmatic solutions
  • Build new features in our front-end and back-end
  • Improve Holly's intelligence by enhancing our LLM-agent-based architecture
  • Scrape relevant public data sources to improve data architecture
  • Build out our data infrastructure and dashboards

Requirements:

  • 4 - 8 years of experience as a full-stack developer at a tech company
  • Recent experience at an early or growth-stage startup
  • Proficiency with React / Next, NodeJS, and SQL (Postgres)
  • Experience with building features spanning the front-end, back-end, and infrastructure
  • Track record of working on hard problems successfully
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to being part of a high-performing team
  • Proud to share cool side projects

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience building LLM-based apps
  • Experience with Elasticsearch

What We Offer:

In this role you can earn a base salary of up to £90,000, Equity, Pension and, much more.
