Our Client Medway Council is looking for a Service Manager to join their Fostering and Adoption Team.

Job Purpose:

  • To have overall operational manager responsibility for the Fostering Service and work alongside social work and commissioning colleagues to develop and continuously improve the delivery of a high quality effective social work service that is informed by Signs of Safety practice models and that delivers good outcomes for children, young people and their families.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues across the Adoption Partnership South East.
  • To contribute to the development and delivery of our ambitious new sufficiency plan, providing stability for our children in care and enabling them to live closer to their families.
