A global software solutions provider who work with a large range of product focused customers are growing and as a result, are looking for an experienced Fortran Developer to join them.

As a Fortran Developer, you will work with one of their long-standing applications and will play a pivotal part in the development and advancement of a Windows-based application which is written in Fortran & C++. There are a number of modernization projects and initiatives going on across different areas of the business and so this role will allow you to utilize your creativity and innovative thinking to identity opportunities for optimization and feature expansion.

This role would suit someone who is happy to work within a cross-functional and globally distributed team, who is happy to work remotely from the UK, wider Europe or the US. With the on-going growth and development of this business, there are numerous opportunities to train with other, modern languages, tools, technologies etc within their varied tech stack too.

Skills and experience required:

• Fortran Development expertise
• Experience within a Windows-based environment
• Ability to analyse, refactor and modernize legacy codebases
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work remotely
