Do you want to join a leading UK manufacturer of away-from-home paper hygiene products based on Stafford Park, Telford?

We are looking for a permanent Forklift Truck Driver to join our growing Raw Materials/goods in team.

As a Forklift Truck Driver you will be driving FLT's ranging from 2 to 8 tonnes, receiving raw materials weighing up to 2.5 tonnes. You will also be working on our outdoor crusher, recycling our own produce on site.

You will work a 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shift pattern of both days (06:00-18:00) and nights (18:00-06:00).

As a Forklift Truck Driver you will play a vital part in ensuring our raw materials are received and booked in. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Using scanners to receive and book in loads.
  • Ensure production lines are stocked with raw materials.
  • Loading waste.
  • Stock counting.
  • General housekeeping duties of working areas.
  • Tasks supporting in production area such as, removing scrap pallets from shop floor, slabbing reels, emptying waste bins when full.
  • Ensuring production lines are fully stocked with consumables/reels at the end of every shift, ready for the next shift.
  • Adhere to health, safety and quality protocol, safeguarding both your well-being and the integrity of our processes.
  • Checking condition of materials during loading, unloading and handling operations.

There may also be a requirement to support or move to different departments depending on manning demands, however training will be given.

Essential Skills

Essential

  • At least 2 years experience as a Forklift Truck Driver.
  • Knowledge of the safety procedures regarding the use of forklift trucks.
  • Knowledge of warehouse experience.
  • At least a basic B1 counterbalance license.

Desirable

  • B2 License
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Stock management experience.
  • Clamp experience.
