Forklift Operative

Are you an experienced Forklift driver? Do you consider yourself to be personable asset to a busy team? Are you based in or around Louth?
We have a temporary position role available within DS Smith. This role is ideal for someone with skills and is proactive, has experience in working within the manufacturing environment and as the ability to work in a team.

Role: Strapper Operator/Forklift Operative.
Location: Northfields, Grimsby Rd, Louth LN11 0LA
Rate: £13.50ph
Contract length: 6 months, however it's very likely this would turn permanent as they have taken temp workers on in the past.
Shift Patterns: 2 x Day shifts 2 Night shifts - 12 hour shift 4 on 4 off

Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:
? The main job responsibilities will be basic production work, re-stacking of the pallets and then operating the strapper machine which straps the pallets together .

Essential requirements:
? Forklift counter balance experience is a must, if you need a refresher course as you have experience or your license is out of date, our Hiring Manager did advise that he's happy to provide this.

Desirable requirements:
? Driving license and use of a car
? Knowledge and experience within a manufacturing environment.
