Forklift Instructor position
Based Close to Thetford, Norfolk
Hours - Monday to Friday – Full time hours – 40 hours per week.
Permanent position
Paying up to £29,000 per annum + company van

Our client is a well respected business who are looking for a Forklift instructor to join their team.

Main duties will include –
 Act as a personal tutor/mentor to groups of learners in order to train, review, monitor and assess learners.
 Maintain learners’ individual files and tracking documents ensuring assessments are completed to the required standards.
 Provide an engaging and supportive learning environment.
 Support the development of this area of curriculum provision to awarding body standards including theoretical and practical training sessions.
 Make sure that assessment strategies used are inclusive.
 Keep and maintain accurate learner records.
 Prepare and set up training area for courses taking place. Conducting training courses as laid out by the Awarding Organisations to a high standard.

Candidate attributes –
 Applicants will need to of held an RTITB or AITT Instructor qualification for a minimum of 12 months and have at least 9 months left before their renewal is due
 Ideally applicants should hold qualifications for a range of lift trucks, although this is not essential as further training will be given as part of training and development.
 A full driving license is required due to business travel.
