Major Recruitment are delighted to be sourcing a Forklift Driver/Labourer on behalf of our established client, based in Dyce.

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver/Labourer. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within our facility, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to support our operational needs.

Hours: 37.5 a week (7am-3pm Mon to Fri) overtime a possibility as when operations require

Duties of the Forklift Driver/Labourer position:

  • General housekeeping, assistance in organising the yard and workshop.
  • Use of forklift to carry out these duties
  • Cleaning up of stripped parts/equipment
  • Preparation of materials/equipment for shipping
  • Collection, tagging with project detail and storage in correct area of received parts
  • A certain amount of manual labour will be involved day to day with the above tasks
  • Current overhead crane training would be an advantage but not essential

Requirements for the Forklift Driver/Labourer position:

  • Valid RTITB certificate (B1/B2) will be required for access to the forklift
  • Proven experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operation.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
