Job Title: Foreman / Foreperson - Drainage

Location: Midlands, United Kingdom

We are currently working with a leading infrastructure construction company dedicated to delivering excellence in every project they undertake. Currently, they are embarking on a large-scale infrastructure project in the Midlands region, and are seeking an experienced and skilled Foreman / Foreperson with strong drainage experience to join their team. As a Foreman / Foreperson, you will play a pivotal role in managing multiple teams of drainage gangs, ensuring the successful execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee multiple teams of drainage gangs on the infrastructure project.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
  • Monitor the progress of work, ensuring quality standards and safety regulations are consistently met.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate project updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in deep drainage within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Hold valid CSCS and SMSTS qualifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations and procedures.
  • Full UK driving license.
