Food Technology Teacher Required

The Supply Register is looking for an experienced and responsible Food Technology Teacher to join the Leigh Academy Tonbridge from September 2024. This is a part-time role, for term time only.

As a Food Technology Teacher you will be expected to:

• Plan and lead insightful and exciting lessons
• Provide a mix of theoretical and practical learning for your students
• Work alongside a Food technician to ensure necessary tools, machinery and materials are available and prepped for lessons
• Accurately track and monitor students progress and be able to provide varied lessons if needed
• Attend parents’ evenings to discuss student progress

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Food Technology Teacher is mandatory
• Must hold the Right to work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
• Must have a minimum of 24 months of professional references
