Food Technology Teacher

Wigan/Leigh

July (few weeks)

Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity? Do you have experience teaching Food Technology? Do you live in or near to Wigan?

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work in a large, over subscribed school in Wigan to start as soon as possible. The role is short term and it is essential that you are a Qualified Teacher/qualified to teach food technology to key stage 3 & 4 pupils.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Wigan
  • Position - Food Technology Teacher
  • Start date - July 2024
  • Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - £150 per day
  • Hours - 8:20 am - 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)
  • Up to date prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide training)
  • Recent Food Technology UK teaching experience preferred

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide a minimum of two professional child related references
