 Role - Food Technician

Location - Slough

Rate £29,344 - £44,919

Hours - 8:00 - 3:30

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic food technician looking for a rewarding and challenging role in a vibrant and diverse school? If so, you might be the perfect fit for a food tech I require in a secondary school based in Slough.

A secondary school with a vision to provide a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for all students, regardless of their background or ability. We are looking for a food technician who can join our team and support the delivery of high-quality food technology lessons across the curriculum.

As a food technician, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the food technology equipment and resources, ensuring the health and safety standards are met. You will also be expected to assist the food technology teachers and students during practical sessions, providing guidance and feedback. You will also be involved in the extracurricular activities and events of the food technology department and the school.

You will have the opportunity to work in a long-term position starting in January 2023, with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff. To be eligible for this role, you will need to have:

- A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)
