Location - West Bromwich

Hours - Day & Night shift available (minimum 40 hours per week)

Overview - Corrugated Packaging Business seeks a highly skilled Glue Operator

Key responsibilities-

• Make ready corrugated packaging
• Run folder gluing machine - Bobst Vision Fold 160 and Vega Altair
• Ability to problem solve and monitor own quality control measures
• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of machinery and products
• Excellent team working and communication skills
• Participate in continuous development and training
• Excellent housekeeping and operator maintenance practices

Requirements-

• You must have proven experience in the Print & Packaging Industry
• Must have have experience of running a folder gluing machine
• Ideally operated a Bobst Vision Fold 160 or Vega Altair, alternative experience will be considered
• You will need to be used to working under pressure in order to meet deadlines and be able to demonstrate a self motivated and focused approach
• Preferably have previous experience of print finishing
• Being able to work well within a team and as an individual.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training
• Good communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Organised, methodical and logical approach to work
• Able and willing to do overtime during busy periods.
