FLT Shift Operative

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of their client, a leading automotive manufacturing company based in Ellesmere Port. They are looking for an experienced FLT Counterbalance driver to join their team on an ongoing basis. As an essential part of operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring production runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a FLT Counterbalance truck to move materials and products around the warehouse and production floor.
• Loading and unloading parts & racks from trailers
• Locating empties in correct position
• Following loading plans and labelling parts correctly prior to shipping
• Checking part quality prior to shipping

To be considered for this role, you must have a

• Valid Counterbalance Licence
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, Automotive desirable.
• Ability to work a 3 week rotating shift pattern of Days / Afternoons and Nights as our production runs 24/7
• Transport to be able to get to and from site as no public transport will accommodate the shift pattern or location

In addition to this, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can work well as part of a team and independently. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are also key attributes we are looking for in a candidate.
