FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative

My client a well established manufacturing company based in Blackburn is looking for an experienced Warehouse Worker with experience on a Counterbalance FLT. As a Warehouse / FLT Driver you will be responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and materials handling. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate warehouse equipment. The working hours are on a permanent back shift working 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform inventory counts and maintain warehouse organization
- Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and shipments
- Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Skills:
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Strong materials handling skills to ensure proper storage and organization in the warehouse
