FLT Driver/Operative

Proactive Personnel are looking to recruit an FLT and warehouse operative for our client in Shrewsbury.

The company is a large UK multi-metals stockholder of stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, and bronze products. The role will be 50% FLT work and 50% Warehouse work.

As an FLT and warehouse operative your duties will include:

• Picking material to works orders
• Booking goods in and out using ERP computer system
• Wrapping and Labelling orders
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Active Participation in 5S Programme
• Active Participation in regular stock cycle counts

The successful candidates will need:

• Minimum 2 Years in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail
• Experience in computerised stock systems
• Counterbalance / Multi-Directional Forklift Licence
• Physically fit
• Effective verbal and written communication
