Our prestigeous Manufacturing Client based in Leek, are looking for a Canner FLT to assist on a temporary assignment for 3 months due to an uplift in business.

Job description:

  • Working in a fast-paced, physical role
  • Filling vessels and cans
  • Labelling
  • Use of FLT counterbalance
  • Strong English and Numeracy skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Filling drums with finished products and preparing them for despatch by correctly labelling and banding to the pallet.
  • Moving drums/pallets/IBC’s etc. around site using Fork Lift Trucks
  • Carry out basic FLT checks to ensure suitable for operational use
  • Maintain yard/warehouse housekeeping standards
  • Report any health, safety or environmental incident or Near Miss
  • Update records/computer system where necessary

Hours of work 8am - 4pm, Pay rate £12.50ph - £13.50ph temporary and ongoing
