You will be working for a homelessness support scheme based in Staffordshire on a temporary basis.
Your new role

  • Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop personalised support plans.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, including budgeting, cooking, and personal care.
  • Provide emotional support, advocacy, and crisis intervention as required.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, agencies, and family members to ensure holistic care.
  • Promote community integration and social inclusion.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar role (floating support, housing support, or related field).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.

What you'll get in return
This is a temporary opportunity, the working hours are 30 per week, can be split over three or four days. Monday, Thursday and Friday are the days required to be worked. The hourly rate is circa £13.00.
