Tradewind Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school situated in the vibrant Cheadle area of Stockport. This long-term role offers flexible days and presents the chance to work closely with a child who has Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements on a 1:1 basis.

Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant at this esteemed primary school, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional development of a student with SEMH needs. Your compassionate approach, combined with your experience and expertise, will contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with children with SEMH requirements
  • Calm, patient, and empathetic demeanor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to the varying needs of the student
