Fleet Repair Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Repair Coordinator to join our team. The Fleet Repair Coordinator will be responsible for authorising and coordinating repairs for our fleet vehicles, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Authorise repairs for the compliance team and provide regular updates on progress.
Coordinate repairs for vehicles, updating the system to track and monitor progress.
Authorise breakdown repairs, update the system, and communicate progress to customers.
Source parts for repairs and explore cost-effective alternatives to minimise spend.
Assist the fleet customer support team in directing vehicles for repair and resolving any related issues.
Approve live defects and obtain purchase orders for damage-related defects.
Approve pro formas and finalise spends on repairs within the authorisation in box.
Close repair jobs and issue purchase order numbers to suppliers within 48 hours.
Assist the recharge team with recharges and address customer queries related to recharges.
Support the compliance team in resolving issues related to servicing.
Determine the quickest and most cost-effective solutions to get VOR (Vehicle Off Road) vehicles back up and running.

Experience:
Previous experience in a fleet management or automotive repair coordination role preferred.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using repair management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
