Job Description

The primary responsibility for the Fleet Manager will be to identify and develop unknown fleets; increasing the use of aluminium wheels by visiting transport fleets to promote and convince the fleets of the benefits of Alcoa aluminium wheels.



Further responsibilities include:-

  • Building, developing and executing strategies that increase the use of Alcoa aluminium wheels across the Truck, Bus and Trailer industry.

  • Working with the distributors to help drive opportunities across the assigned region.

  • Working with multiple stakeholders at various levels to understand the customer's operations.

  • Using the CRM system effectively and efficiently to track the data/fleet visits.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Fleet Manager will:-

  • Have commercial experience ideally in the Bus, Truck or Trailer industry or have a technical sales background.

  • Be consultative in their approach- confident in working with multiple stakeholders at various levels.

  • Have experience in solution sales- ideally in transportation

  • Have exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Be analytical in their approach and commercially astute.

  • Preferably live in or near Bristol and able to travel across the South West on a regular basis.

  • Be a self starter, determined and motivated individual.



This is a home based role where the majority of the week will be spent visiting fleets, so effective planning and organisation is a must!
