My client are a leading supplier to the construction industry and seek an experienced Fleet Coordinator to join them at their office in Leeds.

Responsibilities:

• Vehicle daily hire, placing reservations, exchange, and termination of ad hoc vehicle hires.
• Maintenance of supplier’s portals and internal trackers, including but not limited to asset registers, vehicle hire, MID (Motor Insurance Database), motor insurance claims and compliance.
• Ensure company complies with road traffic laws.
• Manage company transport policies and handbooks.
• Ensure company meets outside accreditation requirements
• Maintaining company fleet and working with outsourced service providers.
• Support the depots and wider business with group transport queries.
• Management of parking and speeding fines, co-ordinating any recharges.
• Co-ordination of congestion and dart charges.
• Carry out transport inductions for new starters.
• Fuelcard administration and monitoring of fuel consumption.
• Investigate motor accidents / incidents identify trends and support improved driver behaviour.
• Manage motor insurance claims.
• Administering driving licence checks.
• Communicating driver education and conducting driver training.
• Managing and overseeing external driver training.
• Support monthly transport reporting along with any ad hoc requirements.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a fleet /transport coordinator role (or similar level) is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email/ internet.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and transportation providers.
• Excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills; being able to multi-task and re-prioritize at frequent intervals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to review processes and improve them / make them more efficient.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Friendly, confident and professional manner.
• Hands on approach and a "can do" attitude.
