As part of the Investment Banking division of Deutsche Bank, FIC aims to build long-term, trusted and mutually beneficial relationships with the major financial institutions around the world.

As a Business Support function, the team supports FIC Accountable Client Owner ACOs globally to ensure Sales and Trading ACO client files are Know Your Client (KYC) compliant in a timely manner, and to ensure ACOs have access to the information they need to satisfy KYC requirements to latest policy standards. Enhanced regulation in the trading space in recent years has led to a requirement to proactively monitor and escalate irregular trading patterns, change in behaviour and deviations in expected volumes & frequencies of transactions across various asset classes and products.

You will be part of the FIC ACO team and as a TM change manager, you will be responsible for representing the interests of the FIC business in all transaction monitoring specific change initiatives.

Your key responsibilities
  • Attend all relevant transaction monitoring working groups, design and governance forums
  • Create (where appropriate) information packs and communications for wider FIC business distribution to ensure key stakeholders across various businesses
  • Daily engagement with sales, trading, business management to ensure your knowledge of markets products, trading strategies and client types is detailed
  • Manage a team providing guidance and oversight
  • Become an expert in Deutsche Bank Sleuth application
Your skills and experience
  • A background in statistics, trading or granular market product understanding (for example Foreign Exchange/rates/credit/loans) would be advantageous
  • Experience and a good understanding of Transaction Monitoring/Trading Surveillance models
  • Experience writing business requirement documents
  • Experience translating complex issues and scenarios into simple statements for senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading resources and enjoy working in a broader team
  • Ability to encourage and motivate colleagues in key internal business partner teams around the global Deutsche Bank infrastructure to obtain specific, accurate of working and timely answers/solutions to issues
