Fitter/Fabricator

Fitter / Fabricator We are a well-established engineering company manufacturing foundry equipment, based in Lichfield Staffordshire.

We are seeking an experienced, suitably qualified fitter/ fabricator to join our existing team and offer a friendly environment, excellent working conditions and stable permanent employment.

The role will consist of: · Assembling and fitting. This will entail marking out, drilling and some remedial work. · Welding and small fabrications ·

The ideal candidate will be trained, holding suitable relevant qualifications, whilst being able to display proven experience from similar positions. ·

The successful applicant must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings; fit bearings, shafts, and other parts to an acceptable engineering standard; modify or adjust parts as required with excellent machining and welding ability and competently use hand and power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments; inspect and check fitted parts and sub-assemblies; adhere to H&S procedures and SSOW. ·

This is an ideal role for an experienced Mechanical Fitter with knowledge of Hydraulics & pneumatics Engineering. · · Holding a FLT license and banksman certificate would be an advantage. · Hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm,
