Due to the organic growth of the business my client is looking for a Fitter Engineer to join the team.

Northwest and Yorkshire

Full-time: 40 hours per week. Mon -Fri
Salary: £32,000 - £35,400 + Overtime

The Role:

As the Fitter Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on refrigerated vehicles to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Your primary objective is to diagnose and repair all makes and models of refrigeration units also including electrical, lining, and mechanical components, while maintaining accurate records of work performed and effectively communicating with customers onsite.

Any of the following relevant experience:

  • Commercial refrigeration
  • Auto electrical systems
  • Refrigerant handling
  • Vehicle mechanics/maintenance

Desirable:

  • F-Gas certificate
  • Experience fitting refrigeration units to commercial vehicles

A successful candidate will be:

  • Experienced in commercial vehicles
  • A quick learner
  • Reliable and motivated
  • Proficient with power tools
  • Able to demonstrate an appropriate consideration for health and safety
