Salary/Benefits: £30,000 - £33,000 Per Annum

Role Details - First Line Manager

We are currently looking for a motivated First Line Manager to join an agile third-party logistics organisation based in Stoke on a Permanent contract.

As a First Line Manager, your responsibilities will include managing and leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure high-performance levels. You will motivate and develop team members to the highest standards, enhancing their skill sets, engagement, and future growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities of the First Line Manager
* Oversee operational procedures.
* Resolve immediate operational issues.
* Uphold quality procedures.
* Plan employee and third-party resource levels to meet operational targets.
* Generate daily operational reports.
* Achieve productivity KPIs.
* Conduct regular briefing meetings with employees to communicate relevant information.
* Implement and monitor the effectiveness of the Health and Safety policy.
* Efficiently manage a team of approximately 40 operatives
* Assist in employee recruitment, including conducting interviews and providing induction training.
* Ensure current employees receive appropriate training.
* Ability to build strong working relationships.

Skills required of the First Line Manager
* Essential experience in managing a team of 10 or more.
* Previous experience in a process-driven environment required.
* Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
