First & Business Travel Consultant - Central London - £30-45K basic

Our client a leading independent Travel company with offices in Central London for a First & Business Travel Consultant to service clients to the profit of the Company by always providing excellent customer service, building relationships, and ensuring the efficient processing of all bookings and queries received.

This role requires the best customer service to look after many repeat clients, based in Central London with working hours of 9-6.

First & Business Travel Consultant main tasks & responsibilities.

  • Ensure that all travel enquiries are dealt with accurately and efficiently.
  • Booking flights to worldwide destinations using Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre as appropriate. This may involve the booking of nett fares and planning complex itineraries.
  • Providing advice on visa requirements and arranging visas as appropriate.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for all client queries handled until successfully concluded.
  • Ensure that all fare rules, regulations and conditions are given correctly with a full explanation.
  • Ensure that valid alternatives are offered to all clients.
  • Respond to and perform re-issues and recalculations in accordance with clients changing needs.

Business Travel Consultant Skills & Experience required;

  • Extensive Travel/Industry (e.g. Business Travel, Marine Travel, Leisure Travel) Experience
  • Working knowledge or a major CRS such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre or Worldspan
  • Exceptional fare knowledge
  • First class Customer Service
