Fire & Security Service Engineer

Fire & Security Service Engineer required. Our client is a well established Fire & Security business based in Wolverhampton, looking for an Service Engineer to join the team due to the growth of the business. They work with commercial clients.

Successful candidates must have in depth experience in either Fire or Security installation (Fire alarms or CCTV, Access control and Intruder Alarms), Candidates must also be willing to travel around the UK and stay away if needed. Candidates will also be included on a call out rota

Fire & Security Service Engineer Position Overview

• Conduct call outs / breakdowns and fault finding
• Carry out full ppm servicing, reactive and fault-finding across a range of Fire Systems.
• Occasional Small Work Installations.
• Work unsupervised individually, or as part of a larger team.
• Support Service Supervisor, Service Manager and Senior Management as required
• To take ownership of allocated tasks and complete them in line with company schedule.
• To manage own workload, ensuring backlog is kept to a minimum.
• Participate in training
• Working away from home when required. (Exception rather than 'norm')

Fire & Security Service Engineer Position Requirements

• 3+ years' experience performing the same role in a similar business
• Ability to take a job from start to finish.
• Able to stay away when required
• Knowledge of the following systems advantageous: Gent, Notifier, Morley, Kentec, Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Salto, Samsung, etc.
• IPAF qualification (ideally)
• C&G electrical installation or NVQ level 3 (advantageous)

Fire & Security Service Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £25,000- £37,000
• Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
  Working hours: 8-5pm (40 hours)
• Holiday Package: 20 ½ days + 8BH (21 ½ 8BH after 12 months)
• Pension
