Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting experienced Fire Safety Officers on a temporary, ad hoc basis for a prestigious venue in London's Docklands.

This role would suit individuals from a fire, security or health and safety background who are looking for extra work to fit in and around current employment or lifestyle.

The responsibilities of the Fire Safety Officer is to ensure that the venue health and safety is adhered to in line with rules and regulations.

You should be able to demonstrate skills and experience in understanding emergency procedures and be confident in instructing visitors and staff in an event of a fire or emergency evacuation.

Other responsibilities will include ensuring fire and safety equipment is functional, making sure emergency exits are free from obstruction, recording test and carrying out fire risk assessments and safety training and tackling small scale fires when necessary.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team of ad hoc Fire Safety Officers.

Hours of work will vary to include days and/or nights and weekends and the hourly rate is £13.89 per hour.

A current DBS is preferred, but not essential. You are required to produce evidence of your eligibility to work in the UK.
