We are actively looking for a Fire Safety Officer to join a housing association in the Manchester area on a temporary basis. In return you will receive a 3 month contract, flexible working arrangements, mileage coverage, the opportunity to be extended and the opportunity to be made permanent.

As the Fire Safety Officer you will be:
  • Providing high level technical knowledge to the fire safety team, to ensure all work is complaint and in line with legislation
  • Working alongside the Fire Safety manager to support them in managing the fire safety contracts
  • Supporting the team on developing fire strategies and policies and procedures.

Qualifications / Experience:
  • Fire Safety background
  • Residential and social housing experience
  • NEBOSH Fire or equivalent qualification
  • In-depth technical knowledge of emergency lighting, fire detection systems and AOV's
  • An understanding of the legislation around fire safety
  • Project co-ordination experience

As the Fire Safety Officer, you will receive:
  • £30 - £35 per hour
  • 3 month contract
  • Flexible working

  • Mileage coverage
  • The opportunity to be made permanent
