Fire Safety Contract Supervisor

Location: Cornwall, UK

Duration: 18-month Contract

Salary: £50,000 per annum plus outstanding benefits including a high pension

Our client is a leading housing association dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of their residents across Cornwall. As part of their commitment to fire safety, they are seeking a diligent and experienced Fire Safety Contract Supervisor to join their team for an 18-month contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage fire safety works conducted by contractors, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Supervise fire compartmentation, fire door works, fire extinguisher installations, and other related activities
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of fire safety projects
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on fire safety matters to ensure the highest level of safety for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fire safety management or supervision, preferably in the housing sector
  • Fire Safety Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in fire safety management would be advantageous.
